SC Meeting to prepare for AGM

Dear 42 Victoria Parade Owner
 
Optimism comes as Australia begins to ease restrictions. Covid-19 is still here and we must continue to practice our new hygiene and social distancing skills. Most meeting venues remain closed, but we found one that will allow us to meet using the 4 square metres per person limits.
 
You may recall that this year's AGM for SP34151 was postponed due to the very tight restrictions imposed earlier. These restrictions also affected the activities of the strata committee (SC). However, the SC has placed significant effort into a range of issues including:
  • new communication platforms:
    • a dedicated SC email:  [email protected]
    • a resource website with suggestion portal: 42vp.info
    • a frequently updated blog:  42vp.blog
  • preparations for a Master Plan including:
    • protocols for planning and executing significant measures for our Strata
    • Aesthetic Vision for our building
    • Fire Safety Audit considerations
    • 10-Year Capital Works Plan
  • Delineation of some deleterious conditions around our building (possible significant expenditure);
  • Development of a major improvement plan for our building's entry way (possible significant expenditure); and
  • Seeking Owners' guidance to address the Fire Safety Audit Report (possible significant special levy requirement).
There are some significant considerations that the strata committee wishes to have all owners' views in preparing for the AGM. Your input will help us prepare some resolutions regarding the above noted items. Some information about strata committee activity, and details of the above issues are in the blog. The path to the AGM will be in two steps:
  1. Strata Committee Meeting (11 June 2020)
  2. Annual General Meeting (based on SC Meeting feedback)
The SC meeting venue has limited capacity due to current restrictions. As such, the SC requests that only one member per unit attend the Strata Committee Meeting:

Good news!
We will have a special guest join us for the beginning of the meeting. November Gray of Divine Designs will share how she can assist our strata to develop an aesthetic vision for our building.
